Camilla performed at the Kabaret Club on 4th May 2003, along Krysten Cummings, Colin Kilbride and Mark McGee.
She sang "When you've got it, flaunt it" from the musical The Producers, "I saw him once" from Les Misérables, "Left if the dark" by Meat Loaf, "I hate men" from Kiss Me Kate, "Bring on the men" from Jekyll & Hyde, and finally "Slipping through my fingers" by Abba. |
Here's an extract from the reviews from Stagestar :
After
the interval was a delightfully entertaining set, full of laughs,
from Camilla Bard and her accompanist, Magnus. Camilla had
structured her set so that the songs were linked by a theme.
The theme was of course flirting and relationships, and
everything they entail. Her humour threw new twists on a couple
of old classics; did Cosette really catch Marius's eye on the
tube just before she sung "I Saw Him Once"? Camilla's
set began and ended with a nod to her native Sweden, firstly with
"If You've Got It, Flaunt It" sung in a caricature
Scandinavian accent and finishing with the obligatory Abba song!
